I've read horror stories in times past of surgeon's removing the wrong limb/eye/organ. If that happened to YOU what would YOU do?

Probably do the Monster Mash! 

I'd get a wooden leg and an eye patch and chase my BFF around the Yacht i bought with all the lawsuit money. 

i would probably sue the surgeon, ive had a surgeon mess up my knee by doing surgery and ive wondered if i should sue him

Sue the hospital if the surgeon was employed by them ... otherwise, sue the entire surgery team.  Surgeon, nurses, anesthesiologist ... they are all responsible since they are supposed to have a "chart" telling them what the surgery is for.  Also check the chart, to make sure it was written correctly - if not, sue the admitting personnel as well.
