Back in 1994 we had the movie "My Antonia" filmed on our property. It starred Neil Patrick Harris, Eva Marie Saint, and the late Jason Robards. I met, shook hands with, and have autographs from all three.

Our weatherman from our biggest local news channel lives a block away from me.  I shared a beer or two with him during a neighborhood block party.

2 time Masters champion Ben Crenshaw's wife, Julie. The actor who played 'John' on the TV show 'Chips'. Bill Medley of The Righteous Brothers. Felix Cavalere from 'The Rascals' band. Eddie Money.  My brother-in-law stepped outta his place of employment to be surrounded by Secret Service and President George W. Bush, who was lost. They were looking for a campaign venue in Toledo, Ohio.

I have. Several in fact. A film director who won the Palme d'Or, a head coach who won gold with his team both in the olympics as world championships, and the lead singer of a band that ran #1 in the chart lists around the world (USA included). I will have my reasons why I don't mention names or places. Anything else, or are we done here with the insults?

  • No one very famous.... I did party with two people who were on a television show ...Stephen glover ( stage name Steve-O) and Ryan Dunn ( Ryan has since passed :( I went to an after party with them for one of their live shows....One of the most Fu**ed up nights of my life. Also I briefly met Christopher Walken at a movie premiere...just enough to say hi .... I love him... Alot. But I didn't really meet him well.... So that is not really fair for for me.

Rik Mayall. He was known in the UK for being a comedian and actor in the famous TV shows: "The Young Ones" and "Bottom". He is known worldwide for playing the lead character, Fred, in the movie; "Drop Dead Fred". I met him in 2001, in the bar of a Hilton hotel. I was surprised by his height (about six feet), as he didn't look tall on screen. He was a soft spoken, nice guy.

Thank you all for sharing your magic movie star/songwriter/rockn'roll/artists moments!  It's cool, I think to see the different times in life when you had an opportunity to meet someone that we all might know!  Thanks for sharing!  :) :)
