    Wow, that is very clever. The Stargate must be made of very strong material to survive drawing a black hole into a sun.

  • The Stargate wasn't close enough to the black hole to be destroyed. It was far enough away from the black hole to be able to use the effects of the massive gravity from the black hole but far enough away to not be destroyed. The episode was awesome. Stargate SG:1 season 4 episode 22: Exodus.
