When in doubt do you ASK or ASSUME? How often do you make an A** of yourself?

    The last time I asked, was when I asked if we could keep our own Doctor, and I was told yes. so  I assumed it was true, and told someone else,then I found out it was a lie,then I felt like a a--.  then I asked about Benghazi, well you know how that went.

     I've been on the other side of that Zack and it always ticks me off bigtime! Especially if it's a so-called "friend". Because when people assume they always assume the worst!  Folks who dislike me always assume the worst and I don't give a rat's a** about that. But a friend? That really hurts and then I get angry. Right now though I'm in a quandary.  It's about a long-time friend. Weird things have happened recently and I have no information  though I have asked THREE TIMES so I am assuming things. Totally without foundation. It's just that the human mind keeps looking for reasons "why"? Whether I ever find out I can't tell. Until then I'm assuming.
