No .... I once thought I wanted to try alligator ... But then we ordered it and I realized I'm not that adventurous with food. Oh!! I still wanna try that key lime cheese cake you were supposed to fed ex me, Angela -_- ... And Tiger' s potato salad.... I'm starving up here in Canada with all you Americans empty food promises .... That's fine :( .... ;)
I've eaten alligator before on several occasions. It was balled up nuggets made from gator tail and they were marinated in a special homemade sauce that added a spicy kick. Mmmm, so delicious! It literally tasted like chicken, just alittle more chewy.
Yeah they don't taste like chicken. I wouldn't know but my wife might. UM... What? ;)

"German Pancakes" ... they served them at a restaurant that I liked and I always wanted to try one. Problem was, they didn't get ordered often. So when someone ordered one, it was usually the only one in the restaurant at the time. So the rest of the customers would sneak peeks or stare at them while they ate it. The pancake is really large and usually bigger than the plate it's served on (which makes it appear even bigger) and so it's easy to spot someone who hasn't seen one before. Anyway ... I never tried one.
Sounds good. My place served them with powdered sugar and lemon slices, but it appears that there are endless ways to serve them (kinda like American pancakes).
