Discussion»Questions»Human Behavior» Love, understanding, sympathy, compassion, God. Whether they exist or not is dependent upon or independent of you? Why?
Whether these things exist in one's life is dependent upon their decision to engage them. There are those for whom some or all are prevalent in their lives to some degree, and those who do not possess a capacity for one or another. That said, there can be no question that love, understanding, sympathy and compassion do indeed exist in our world as facets of our nature, independent of whether one engages them or not, and are in fact overlapping terms; but there is as yet no comparable (or tangible) proof any god actually exists or has ever existed, beyond the tenuous assertions of man's various belief systems.
