They appear on the homepage, yes, but separately from the questions, which is why I believe they are possibly why they're often overlooked by most members. What I'm proposing is simply that they be absorbed into the new questions do that they can be equally accessed as questions are, yet clearly labeled as polls.
I get your point, Randy. They show up in my feed, though, so I am not inadvertently overlooking them, but doing so on purpose for the reason stated above.
I think they should. And as Bozette says, you should be able to unsubscribe to them. Polls should just be another form of question; everything else should be the same.
Unsuscribe is definitely a badly needed option throughout AnswerMug. I can't say how many times I've had notifications that led me to threads with 50+ hits, and surfing through them to find the newest "gem" is so tedious on this website that I don't even bother trying. I wish I didn't have to receive notifications on threads where I have lost interest.
Yes! Being on the main page isn't the samething. I think polls should just be an option for questions instead of being a separate function all together. It would be better if the questions and polls were together so you can scroll through all of them at once and together.
Only thing is I might lose my favorite site glitch in the process.
On an unrelated note: Am I the only one who wishes the notifications about people liking a comment could all be compiled into one notification for each comment? Example: Instead of telling us Randy likes this comment, Rooster likes this comment, WW likes this comment have it so it just says 3 people liked this comment on the notifications.
