    Hello Capn:

The photographs are not real.  As you noted, people died in Tianamen Square, and this chick was arrested.  Nonetheless, the photos DO capture a moment.

In any case, I see that you and Sharonna aren't impressed.  Well, art ain't for everybody.

  • That's true, the Chinese did killed hundreds...but White America and the police have been murdering black people by the thousands.

The moment captured does not reflect the time before or after the image was taken.  The comparison accurate at that exact moment.

    Hello again, Red:

Let's review, shall we?  I showed a photograph.  You SAID it was photo shopped.  I SHOWED you where it wasn't.  Nevertheless, in the face of having been PROVEN wrong, you INSIST that you're not.   As proof of that, you offer your flapping gums.

It's like I said, if you weren't here, I'd INVENT you.

  • The biggest threat to black America are the white-ruling establishment and popularization of pictures like this when, for every one of these, there are hundreds of thousands of pictures of white people equally offensive..

What is the difference between this and the above picture? Suit & Ties?!

It's everywhere; on TV, in films, gaming, in cartoons...it's ingrained in our culture.

People like the guys shown in your picture are labeled "Thugs", yet people in the picture I posted are labeled many things, but I can almost gaurantee, "Thug" isn't one of them.

Ain't that special? I maintain that this picture is no different in context than what you displayed and TBH, you'r posting that is racially biased against people of color

  • I'm willing to bet all those white guys own those guns legally, unlike those in the black community

    Why? Because they are white?

Sorry...but I don;t subscribe to racist ramblings. Recently a black man was killed by a white police officer just because he had a "Legal" gun. Where is your protest and where are the NRA?

You provided no proof that it wasn't "Photoshopped".

This must have been a new-worthy event so there will be other "professional-grade" photos available from different angles and at slightly different times. How about posting some of those as proof that your "photo" isn't "Photoshopped", if they exist? Or how about a link to where you got that photograph? No?

  • Any thinking person would look at those pics and see that the white guys don't have their faces covered up like criminals, for one thing

    WHY?

Many police department special forces, and militia cover their faces...

Since when has covering your face become "Illegal"?

You focused on the fact that I said "White" rather than Asian yet you glossed over the fact that a person who had a legal firarm was shot.

    WHY?

Carry on with your white supremacist BS, pal

Bullshit! Lots of people are poor it doesn't make them criminals. People need to be held accountable for their behavior. It isn't an excuse for killing people.

It shows that if you do not resist the police, you will not be harmed.  She was arrested but she was not violently arrested or injured in any way and was released the next day.  She is a nurse, I don't remember the town.

And here it is . . . a shot of the same scene unfolding from a slightly different angle.

I doubted the photo because of the appearance of being just a little too perfect, and the police officers appear to be looking beyond the young lady and "postured" as if they were still moving forward towards a more distant target.

    I stand corrected!

    Hello again, Red:

Of course I provided you proof. If you look at my post, the word CLICK was in BLUE. In internet speak, that means double click your mouse ON it. If you do, PROOF will be provided.

How long have you been doing this internet thingy?

    Oh, bullshit!

Your "link" is to yet another copy of the same photo that you initially posted, not to a different photo of the same scene. Doesn't prove a thing. And just because it's in The Atlantic doesn't mean anything. Far more credible new organizations have been taken in by such fraud, or even created it.

You have a hell of a lot to learn about how the sausage of news is made. I've actually been there in the newsroom many times and seen it done "up close and personal".
