May not be a good idea because the operators get a sizable payment for every person sent to prison and what can happen is that a judge might be apt to accept a cash kickback for handing out jail sentences for something minor like j-walking.
I read that one of the ideas being "floated" by The Donald et al is to privatize prisons. Just wondered what y'all thought of it! Thank you for your reply Kg and Happy Thursday to thee! :)
