So what happens when someone blocks you here?

I dont know for sure, but I think it is the same as on most fora, The person blocked cannot send you mail or PMs, and any question, answer or comment he write (in any thread) will be omitted and not shown in your browser.

To see his profile you must deliberately follow a link there, so I doubt that becomes impossible even if you block him.

Ok thanks. I made a new friend last night and now her profile is gone. :( I thought maybe she blocked me, but I think she either closed her account or was deactivated by someone else. :(

There isn't a block feature on here.... if you're friends with someone, you can block communications but that's about it. It's nice to be honest. I haven't really ran into anyone that would even remotely be a candidate for blocking on other sites.

Like fallnhope said, there's no block option here. People won't be able to send private messages if friends, and even then you can mute them. Then again, why staying friends if muting each other. ;-)

I guess that's right. Every other site I've been on has a block feature, and people argue about it all the time. Lol. I'm glad this site doesn't.

You cannot block someone here.

You can ignore them on chat. 

You can block their private messages.

That is it. If you don't like them that much, it is up to you to just not answer them.  Period.

You can block chat by hitting ignore. 

You can block PM's. That is it.

You can't block anyone here except on live chat. There is an ignore option there, you will not see any of their posts. Only friends can send you PM's, so if you don't want someone messaging you, don't friend them. There is no blocking feature for the Q&A. If they post it, you will see it.

My blocking on SH was just for pervs.
