Someday will a robot's salary go to you from taxes and fees on its labor?

  • Dear O-uknow,

Some very thoughtful posts coming from you, ty...
If I understand this Q properly, well I am skeptical. I recall in the 1950's reading an article about the coming golden age of mechanization, and we were all going to have more leisure.

Well, even tender age nine I remember at first delight, then a feeling of foreboding...because too often, it seems that  our society rewards a skill set of greed. So I am concerned that just like the decades following the fifties, robotic profits will now funnel to those already wealthy as poverty increases and the middle class shrinks.

I would love to be wrong...anyway, maybe you were more interested in the future of robotics, rather than distribution of wealth?

Not quite like that but they are talking about taxing companies that use robots that replace human jobs.
