Difficult-to-accomplish things are more valued than those that are easy peasy. Does ease of accomplishment diminish value?

WHAT IF you could get a hole-in-one anytime you wanted one?  Or a home run  or a no-hitter?  What if all gambling resulted in wins? Then it wouldn't be gambling would it? Taking the risk and adventure and surprise out of life, would that please or displease you? Why?
