  • I think I'll stick with mine....wouldn't want someone else's memories and drama. The enemy you know and all that!

I didn't think about memories. I was thinking more in terms of genius/creativity. Great philosophers, poets, artists, authors, musicians. Those whose contributions have lifted us up and given us hope and joy and excitement and extended lives. I am defined by my memories. Whom would I be without them? Another question to be asked. Thank you for your thoughtful reply Angela! :)

No no no no no no no AG! I see nothing but sadness there. We all have negative thoughts from time to time. Maybe even terrible/ugly thoughts! They should remain private. You would get an insight into him that might crush you. That could be true  for all of us. I wouldn't want Jim to read my mind/have my brain for an instant and I wouldn't want to invade his either for the same reason. It's like going through someone's pockets to see what you can find. I would NEVER do that. I think you might want to rethink that! I'm just sayin'!  Thank you for your reply AG! :)

That is a good point. Especially in his case. He goes through a lot of dark periods in his thoughts because he lost his mother at a very early age. He is only 25 and she's already gone. :(

    You're welcome.

My dad died when I was 20. It was my sister who suffered most though She was only 13. We all stayed together the night he died and in her sleep my sister was saying "but who will walk me down the aisle"? It broke our hearts. Losing a parent is never easy. But we all face it. Later is better of course. Your boyfriend needs his space and privacy. We all do. No point in inflicting our dark moods on those we love. Or anyone for that matter. :)

That happened many decades ago. January 1960 to be exact. It happens to everyone. We all lose our parents. Eventually our kids lose us. What's terrible is when kids die before their parents. That must be the most terrible pain there is. You're welcome AG! :)

I LOVE Dwayne(sp?) Johnson...The Rock! He has the greatest personality ever! I love his movies. I love seeing him being interviewed. He is one heckuva handsome guy but what comes across is his goodness. I have never heard of any scandal involving him. From what I read he married his high school sweetheart. I don't know if they're still together but you never hear one negative word about him in the press. I bet his folks are so proud! His kids too if he has any. A thoroughly likeable guy. You have excellent taste Zack! Thumbs up! Thank you for your reply and his photo! He improved the question thread tremendously. What do you think about Queen Latifah? I LOVE her just as much. She is a fine person, a terrific actress, a great singer and her personality is awesome. I wonder if they've met? Wouldn't that be a power couple for sure? Thank you for your reply! :)
