Is there always an exception and an exception to always?

Hmmm

  • What a conundrum. This would be like looking into an endless chain of mirrors.

In the well-worn cliché, only two things are certain, death and taxes. And yet the Bible (well, the Apocrypha, at least)  tells us that Enoch did not die; and there wouldn't be too many billionaires who got where they are without cheating on taxes. So those are the exceptions to always.

Enoch might come back as one of two prophets to be slain by the Anti-Christ in The End Times.

  • So he might. I had only the vaguest knowledge of who he was (if he was) but C.S.Lewis referred to him in one of his sci-fi stories and it kind of stuck.
