Where did the 'like' button go for the questions?

It seems you can no longer give a 'like' for a question.  Why?

  • It's still there.

It's there on the left, right below the red box that frames the question.

  • Thank you. I didn't see it. :) All I saw was that it wasn't where it used to be.

Was just going to do the same as Didge. Subscription to questions went underneath the question too.

Sorry for the confusion. I had the dev make some changes. I basically told him to move any buttons you wouldn't use until after you'd read a question to below the question... Makes more sense, I think... It'll screw with you guys until you get used to it, but it follows a normal downward flow. There's also a time stamp on the question now.

The question page got member names on it by the avatars and was extended as well.

  • Thanks. It just confused me for a bit....that's easy to do these days. :) I posted that BEFORE my second cup of coffee this morning.

thanks, these are good improvements. the time stamps, and moving the stuff below the question... but.. im still wondering when we're getting a "like" counter on our profiles under the Member Info (would be cool to see how many likes we have in total) :D

It's on the list of potential improvements, but we're focused on functionality right now.

You can see that number on your wall page, or maybe not. Always thought that number was who had liked our profiles. ;-) This post was edited by Benedict Arnold at March 7, 2017 11:09 AM MST

Skunky wants a counter that shows how many times your content has been liked overall... as far as I know, that isn't anywhere... is it?

Oh. I thought it was how many likes on his profiles he had. A total counter, I see. Nah, haven't seen anything that will be good enough. Closest would be credits earned but there are other ways we earn them besides the likes we get. Hmm.

what i meant was, how many likes each of our answers and discussions have in total.. it would be cool to have something like that.

Got the picture from what JA was telling me. I never through the about that. But it's ok, we each want different stuff. Poor JA will have to prioritise those whe feels add to the experience of members staying here. :-)
