Discussion»Questions»Family» March 8 - can you imagine life without a woman in your life, could you say a few words, be it about your mother, grandmother, wife, daughter?
No I cannot. My kindness, gentleness and sweetness is because of the women in my life. My mother was a broken woman who was a horrible mother, who with time has learned to be my supportive friend. My grandmother loved me when no one else could. My mom in law raised a lovely boy who became my partner in life. My daughter is my sunshine and my rain. All had a hand in who I am today. Thank you to all the women in my life.

The less said about my mother the better. My grandmother on the other hand was incredible. Her life story would make an absolutely fascinating book - one I may have to write - about a woman who defied odds daily at a level most people can't even think of. Always patient and loving she showed by example what it really meant to be human and to love. I have no words to say how much I miss her.
Unfortunately, this is one of the only approaches that most men will respond to, the one that determines a woman's worth -- to a man -- by how much he needs her. It all has to do with self-interest.. but at least if it's getting them to resepct and value women more, then.. that's doing.. something.... I guess...
There was a time when I thought that I couldn't live without a woman, but that has changed. There are women out there that will f**k your life up which is where the trust issues come into play. I now know that I can live without them and will not lose any sleep over them. Minus my mom.
I agree Zack, there are many women who are manipulative and demanding....I have known you since Answer Bag, one can delve into one's personality through their ideas, thoughts which get expression in their questions and answers, I'm am sorry you met the wrong women....! You have your mom, and I'm glad she's an awesome lady!
