Easy, freedom of speech is so precious he is willing to sacrifice his life for your right to have it regardless of whether or not he agrees with what you express. What's the problem? He wasn't speaking another language here.

What ou know said... put more broadly.. a democracy, to live up to its ideals, must allow and protect anyone to say anything otherwise it's not a true democracy ... in reality this only works of the citizens are educated and can tell the truth from the lies... unfortunately these days critical thinking ability seems to be on the decline
