Shouldn't the focus of national health care be on making it affordable not claiming victory by the number of people covered?

    A national service should be nationalised including medical training conditional upon serving in it.

    I see no reasons for the Federal government to be  involved in the first place.  Health care is a consumer product the purchase of which should not be the business of the Federal government.  State insurance commissioners are very capable of oversight of their state's insurance industry.
