In the closing the gap between rich and poor should we be careful not to confuse excess with access?
How many cars, homes and vacation retreats do you need? Is it really necessary to own your own plane? You have access to most things the rich have access to except our politicians :(
One who has earned wealth is free to spend it has he wishes. It is certainly true some people are poorly served by our (US) economic and social system. Others are poor from their own bad choices and laziness.
