Are you interested in learning about the music modes from the Renaissance?

This is music theory. I'm doing a study of how modes changed through time since the 13th century or even earlier. Here's a little of it.

    I am interested in the arts and science of the Renaissance, and by extension music also...it appears the dodecachordon was a book, published in 1547?

  • Renaissance and Medieval are my primary listening.  But no, I have no interest in their music theory.  some general back ground to pieces sure.
