Yes I do and I wish they would just leave it like this from now on. The energy savings of falling back an hour in the Fall are so minimal as to make no sense to use it any more. I like the Spring forward and just leave it that way.
The reasoning behind it doesn't seem to exist any longer, so they should to away with it. It isn't as though they're giving you more hours in the day - it's still the same 24. If it's dark in the morning, you still need to turn on the lights the same as if it's dark in the evening. If you cut a foot off the top of a blanket and sew it onto the bottom, you don't have a longer blanket.
Not hardly! It originally was so that the farmers had more morning light to plant their crops. After that, it was to save electricity for the war effort. Then it was so kids didn't have to stand in the dark waiting for the school bus. Now, I have no idea why they continue it other than laziness and sloth to change it.
What my parents and I didn't like about it was having to catch the school bus. On standard time it would be light at this time of year. On daylight savings time it would be dark again.
