Hi Dozy, About 75 mile inland from the Pacific raincoast of Washington State, there are some remnants of warmer, drier prairies...and that is where Tenino sits. Wild violets cover the prairies in springtime, and I used to go out and harvest them for violet jam!

Lovely. We have a fringed violet in our area. They're very thin on the ground and hard to find, bt there were a few growing where we used to walk the dog.
I have a nice house in a rural area that's pretty quiet but looking to buy this wonderful house near the American river at Sailor's Bar. It's nice where I live now but I just love this other house and it has more property and seclusion.
We live just outside of town. We can sit on either the front or back and only see woods. But we are on five minutes from town. Walmart, work, etc. The best of both worlds.
