Discussion»Questions»Relationships» "What does he see in her"? "What does she see in him"? How often have you wondered that about others? Any theories?
Our perception of others influences the way we see them. IMO, education plays a big part in that, along with past upbringing.
I'm reminded of what Dakota Staton asked in this song. (a favorite of mine))

Sometimes you like one part of a couple and not so much the other one. I don't mean YOU specifically of course. I mean "one likes". Thank you for your reply Swoop and Happy Friday! :)
But I learned long ago that a breast fed baby who had a good child hood may have had a mother who had long hair and it brushed over the child when he was being held and fed.
And for that reason alone, he may be partial to a girl with long hair for reasons he might not understand.
Point---"behavior is over-determined."
Seldom do we do "human" things for only one reason. (As opposed to driving a car just to get to work.)

Thank you for your thoughtful answer tom and Happy Friday. Sometimes you like both of the people who are coupled and sometimes you like only one. That's when I wonder why? :)
