In the midst of chaos/defeats Trump holds a campaign rally in Tennessee to get the love he DESPERATELY needs from crowds. Presidential?

Unbelievable. He is still campaigning and needs the adulation/adoration of the crowds to keep him going. He has nothing better to do apparently than regurgitate the same old campaign rhetoric, fire up the crowd and feel loved. No surprise. Is it wise?

  • He's trying to reach out to the families of the Bowling Green incident.

Tennessee, Kentucky...  close enough for fictional terrorist attacks.

Hahahahahahahahahaha! Funnee hunnee! You mean the "incident" that never happened, right? The guy is amazing. I give him that. With everything falling down around his h ead he strikes out for the campaign trail again. He feels safe there and in charge. No one is gonna tell him NO! He is seriously pathetic. He has an Achilles heel on each foot and they are the same. He has no clue what it takes to be prez so he is adlibbing it! SIGH. Thank you for your reply Glis and Happy Thursday! :)

  • I commend him for being so sympathetic to all victims of terrorist plots.   Real and made-up.  His compassion knows no bounds.

  • Umm, so what you're saying is that once a person becomes President of The United States of America he is supposed to ignore the people? Barack Obama had over 400 speeches that he gave throughout his presidency that involved travel to other states for various reasons including those with his own fans and supporters. Hell, his farewell speech was held in a convention center in Chicago instead of the usual channels. I'm not saying this is a bad thing. It's just a something every president does. It's unfair and inaccurate to say that Donald Trump is only doing it for adoration when literally every President does this. Also, why wouldn't he use the same campaign promises that he used during his election campaign? Those are the promises he ran and won on. It would be absolutely ridiculous to change that now. Why wouldn't he want to fire up the crowds? Again, Obama, as much as I dislike him, was an excellent speaker and campaigner. Hillary Clinton should have taken several pages from his campaigning book. He had people crying, wailing, and passing out upon meeting him and hearing his speeches because he was that charismatic. How is that any different than what Donald Trump is doing?

  • Right, best he stay home and ignore the people and not go talk to them?  What kind of logic is that? I am a coach.  That would be like once I get the job, I don't talk to them any more. I just give them a schedule and a game plan and hope they do it?  People want to see him obviously.  They waited in line for hours to get in to hear him. So you really think we should have all new roads and bridges and a Wall in 50 days?
