Wouldn't it be great if sidewalks had a 7ft. solid wall? So you can have some damn privacy from people walking by....



..and make using the sidewalk better as not to be gawked at by weirdos who sit in their front yards starring at you.


I think so.   It would make using the sidewalk better and make using the front yard better.

  • Not a problem where I live as I'm not in the city and not that many people walk on the sidewalks here. Usually just kids going to school or people walking their dogs. I guess in a big city that it would get irritating although I sure don't mind a good looking lady walking by! LOL

  • I wouldn't mind it either! I get a lot of female joggers that wear hardly nothing. Dirty old man can't help but stare! Although I try to keep the drooling at a minimum.

  • Dude,  I know exactly what you mean.   Passing by the yacht hunnies during the summer while gassing and loading supplies for work has developed a strong sideways glance.   I wonder how many of them wonder if I'm really that interested in the dock planks?

  • Hey,  they build the damn sidewalks,  they should build a barrier when they appropriate the space from front yard to build them.

    Besides, most places have a stupid rule saying you can't build over 5ft.   and have to have it set back a few feet.   That's BS.

  • They don't work when trying to use a front lawn.  Plus someone might want the windows open.

    That doesn't help when walking one and front porch sitters just stare at you.  It's so weird how people sit out front when they got backyards in cities.
