Discussion»Questions»Life and Society» When societies change do they always grow larger, healthier, stronger or can they shrink, shrivel up and become ossified/petrified? Why?
History has shown that all societies come to an end. The Egyptians did not build the pyramids thinking their society would end, but it has. The "Eternal City" fell a bit short of eternity. The glories of ancient Greece are now ruins. The Reich did not see a thousand years. Such is the course of all societies.
It's crumbling. Like Whistle said. They all fall and crumble eventually. It is historically humans most repeatedly failed experiment and a proven house of cards. When the resources that built it run out, it devolves into politics. Politics ultimately divide it and destroy it.
Divide and destroy when they SHOULD bring together and build/create. A** backwards isn't it? Entropy(A doctrine of inevitable social decline and degeneration) rears its inevitable unavoidable ugly head. Thank you for your reply Glis and Happy Ssturday! :)
