It wasn't really about boxing although it had it in......I loved the story and the little kniveing irish feller with the horse and trap.....the film has me in tears one second and roaring with laugher next....

It's about Big John wanting Red and he has to fight her brother to keep her.......it's hell'airous one moment and sad the next......it has the most wonderful storyline and so unlike all the stupid films every film maker is pumping out now...., I'd say watch it again.......it's well worth it..... I first saw it with my parents when I was maybe 7 or 8 years old and many many times since......
