Have you ever bought a book because the title was so intriguing?

I do this constantly. Sometimes it's the photo or drawing on the cover that gets my attention.

I bought such a book the other day. The book was "People of the First Man". I know the first man was made of red clay---his name was "Adam".

The book is about "life among the Plains Indians in their final days. It's also an art book of watercolor paintings with many portraits of Native Americans. It's incredible!

This is the Missouri River a Expedition of 1833--34, by Prince Maximillian and Karl Bodmer.

I have a few times.  A couple of them turned out to be good choices in spite of my method.  :)
