Discussion»Questions»Humor and Jokes» Do you have something you say to someone that means shut the hellzup in a polite way? Mine are ( cool beans, that's nice, or I see then)
Usually, I just say, "shut the hell up" in various forms ranging from nice to sarcasm to rude depending on the person. Unless, of course, if I'm speaking to a talkative customer. Then, I'll try to guide the conversation back to making a sale.
It depends upon who is talking and what they are saying. Generally, it's "Uh huh," "Yeah. Okay" to "Really? Hmm." Then I bounce as quickly as possible.
"Bless your Heart" I'm from the South. If your mother or favorite Aunt says that, you're OK. They're just worried and they care for you. If someone that hardly knows you says that to you. It means you are pitiful. Not worth listening to.
