    First choose an artisan bread that you happen to like. If no preference then choose sourdough. Do not for any reason use plain white bread.

    Choose a cheese from this chart:



    Assemble the sandwich and spread the outsides with mayonnaise. Fry at a slightly hotter temp that you would use for butter, but only slightly. Watch the color carefully to turn at the right moment.

    This doesn't sound like a big deal, but some people will want to know how you made such beautiful toast.

  • Grilled cheese are good! Has to be real cheese, not the stuff in plastic wrap. Pair it with good tomato soup....yum!

    Don't do this. it will only make Ran-Ran look for a new replacement for Grilly, again. We were doing so great with his progress... this will be a major setback. Oomph.
