  • Gotta agree. You'll never find me too far from something interesting to read.

Playing scrabble with a friend, working with the dog on his training, as Karen stated - reading, making a pot of soup, sleeping, and of course, sitting on my butt answering questions and speaking with people here on AM.

  • Either reading a good book or some good online gaming. I love to read all the time!

  • Me too, Rooster. I never got around to gaming though -- I don't think I can afford another vice. :(

  • I also enjoy reading. Online shopping is great! Cooking....love to cook. Or take a nap, especially if you can listen to the sound of the rain falling....has a soothing quality to it!

  • It does indeed. Our carport is right outside my bedroom window. Gives a good sound in the rain.

  • Popular choice. And the tea is a bonus.

  • Tea is essential, not a bonus.

  • Reading. Of course I do that when it's bright and sunny out too...

    Go for a walk. Seriously!

  • Of course, seriously. C.S.Lewis once wrote that people who didn't like walking in the rain probably had mothers who wouldn't let them play in it when they were kids. Exhilarating, especially when it's bucketing down.

My hubby wasn't allowed to play in the rain when he was a kid and he absolutely loves walking in the rain with me.  C.S. Lewis has it backwards.  The reason why hubby loves it so much is because he wasn't allowed to do it when he was a kid.  He grew up with a domineering grandmother so he pretty much loves doing everything she wouldn't let him do when he was a kid which is lots of fun stuff we enjoy doing together as adults.

I simply look out of the window. That's how I enjoy myself.

We (you and me) can do a lot of things in front of a window. You decide.
