    Yes. for some years I helped people learn HTML and Javascript on an online forum.

    Alas, Most of what I know in that area is obsolete now ;-))

    Perhaps, but I bet what you taught them was a great building block for them to start picking up more. That's a beautiful thing about forums- you never know whose life you have touched.
