Have you ever travelled by air tram...?

I did today, what an experience it was ;))
The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway—the world’s largest rotating tram car—travels over two-and-one-half miles along the cliffs of Chino Canyon, transporting visitors to the pristine wilderness of the Mt. San Jacinto State Park and Wilderness Area. During this ten-minute journey, tram cars rotate slowly, offering spectacular vistas of the valley below. At the Tram’s Mountain Station—elevation 8,516 feet and 30 degrees cooler than the desert floor.

  • No there there.
Only one thing sounds more unsettling than hanging 8000 feet in the air by a wire.  That's hanging 8000 feet in the air by a wire while spinning.  I get enough vertigo from heights like that as it is.

  • We have something similar about 25 miles west of where I live. It's not called an air tram but it's along the same lines. Good fun.
