Tornado warnings! Should I put my paints up?

I'm trying to plan my afternoon---whether to read and research, or get my paints out. I hear tornado warnings on the radio for our county, but it isn't raining. No wind. Clouds? Yes. I am afraid of tornado weather.

    I'd err on the side of caution.  If there are tornado warning, I would heed them.  It's better to be safe than sorry.

    we get tornato warnings where i am all the time in colorado but we've never actually had a tornato

    Yes, I'm obsessed. Any tornado of a significant size will have plenty of chasers after it. And that means lots of good footage will be uploaded afterwards online. I try to watch as many as I can. :)

    @Righty, come to Kansas, Oklahoma, or Texas. We get them all the time. Sometimes we get several tornadoes at one time.

  • Are you talking about a warning where the tornado is on the ground or a tornado watch?  If it's a warning then I wouldn't worry about your paints just haul yourself off to the safe place in your house, if you're hit by a tornado your paints will be the last thing on your mind.
