Daylight Savings Time Have you ever considered why we have such an unusual custom that occurs twice a year? It’s really the most bizarre tradition we have. It’s not like back before we had clocks that people worried about how early it was getting dark. Daylight Savings Time was originally put into place to save electricity. These days, however, it does the complete opposite which makes you wonder why we still have this tradition. No one really wants it to get darker earlier and how many times have you been late for work because you forgot to change the time on your clock? Not to mention the fact that it screws with our sleep patterns and makes us feel generally weird for about a week before our bodies adjust. It’s one of those traditions that no longer has a place in our lifestyle, and yet we continue to do it like robots twice a year. Why? Because it's a waste of time.

No. There are times when such action is necessary. Such as WWII. A very real evil was loosed on the world which had to be stopped. Negotiations were not goin to work, so sadly violence was used. This is a very sad legacy of our species.
Doesn't change the nature of assault and killing. If there were none of these we would not have to discuss them. Btw, there was some evil as naive people behind WWII, but a lot of it was based on dubious beliefs.
Saying "bless you" when someone sneezes. Why should anyone comment on a bodily function? It's just weird. I actually prefer people not to say it, because I don't like people drawing attention to the fact that I've sneezed. There's no reason to.
I propose daylight saving time too. Springing ahead is stupid and obnoxious.
I think placing value on the worthless diamond would be great too. It really has no actual value other than as an industrial abrasive and those can be made artificially. All without the tragic harm they do to humans and the environment for a worthless and incredibly common piece of carbon. The whole diamond industry is built to suck money into the pockets of the biggest scumbags on the legal market.
I totally disagree on doing away with tips though. They level the playing field.
