Isn't that nutz?
The same poster said Putin was as sweet as "Pumpkin Pie". Remind me never to eat at her house
I think that you've been "spoofed".
Don't know anyone in the US that wants Putin to be their "Fearless Leader". But I do know a number that have a lot of respect for him, just like they would have a healthy respect for a coiled rattlesnake at their ankle or any other potentially deadly enemy.
And I fear that we're going to see that side of Putin soon. Due mainly to actions (or lack thereof) of the current US administration Russia is starting to re-arm in their west with nuclear weapons. Goodby detente, hello new cold war (at least I hope it stays cold!).
Exactly, SH.
No one idolizes him. Though the enemy of your enemy is your friend.
Putin isn't a good guy but he's not part of the cartel of scum that is trying to build a "new world order". He wants an independent Russia and that make him our ally in the fight against globalism.
The west has been extremely aggressive to Russia. They've been prodding the bear with a stick which is incredibly stupid and risks world war. The west has constantly tried to portray Russia as aggressive, which is simply not true. It was western intelligence that started the Ukrainian revolution in 2014, threatening Russian interests in the region. The west has been developing missile shield technology under the ridiculous pretext of threat from Iran.

I fully support Trump reaching out to Putin and trying to de-escalate. Unless you want to be vaporized some time soon, you should too.
It's not just Russia either but many other countries who sense the current US administration's weakness and may be willing to use it against them.
