I'm sorry Ozgirl but I have not seen your little red sock.  The best suggestion I can think of is write to the Great and Powerful "OZ" himself.  Ask him if he can help you find your sock.  I'll help you get started.

Dear Mr. Great and Powerful Oz~  My name is Ozgirl .  I am in terrible dismay.  I had two little red socks that were great friends with my feet.  Tragically the left sock was brutely taken from my warm dryer where it was tumbling freely with her best friend, my little right-footed red sock. I'm almost certain it was the wicked dryer theif from the East.  I know this because the dryer thief from the West has been GPSing me all the way down the Yellow Brick Road to come and see you in your grandeur.  Can you please help me and my very chilly left foot, oh  Great and Mighty "OZ?"
I would very much appreciate any help you might be able to offer.
