Why not let the people decide how much pols should make, what days they will work, what benefits they will get? After all we the people are the EMPLOYERS of government workers including the prez. Why do we have no say at all in the details affecting our employees such as wages, benefits? We get to pay for it but have no authority over it! What kind of cockamamie situation is that fer cryin' out loud? The pols should pay all their own expenses and submit expense accounts to we the people for approval. Anything out of line they eat. Who rides herd on them? Who audits what they do? Who approves of anything as being "reasonable" and "necessary"?
