Are you an "advice" follower? What the worst/best advice you ever got? What happened?

I was advised to join the Navy when I was 18. I did...good advice.

depends on what kind of advice people are giving me, like for instance i told my sister about how much college was having a bone marrow drive, she told me not to do it so i went ahead and registered, i dont always listen to people's advice, i do my own thing sometimes

In the last 10 years it has all been related to moving.
