It's for the best. A cape could get caught on something and strangle you.

    Uh..."for no apparent reason."   QED---

AKA  Free Floating Anxiety. (Free-floating Anxiety is anxiety not associated with a particular object, event, or situation.)

But feel free to associate at will.

(I edited this because when it shows up as a post on the home page, it merges the abbreviation for Quod Erat Demonstrandum with the abbreviation for also know as, and thus makes me even harder to understand than usual.) This post was edited by tom jackson at April 27, 2017 5:05 PM MDT

  • That might be the case for some people, yes.
I doubt that's my issue.  *sigh*

    Subconsciously, you're afraid of something.

The Generalized Anxiety Disorder diagnosis I have is related to that type of anxiety -- and the free-floating kind tom jackson mentioned seems similar, too.

But I can be "Anxiety Boy!" at times, too (the male counterpart to SavvyAnsley's post).
    :)

The funny thing -- many people in my life that find out about my anxiety are often surprised I deal with it. "You're so laid back, funny and calm!" This post was edited by WelbyQuentin at April 27, 2017 9:21 PM MDT

    Excellent...

As they say, it's not so much what happens to you in life, it's more about how you react to what happens.
