Out of a random sample of Answermug members, how many out of twenty, would you say are well adjusted and sane.

How many out of twenty are, according to your appreciation, informed, mature, sane people with whom you wouldn't mind hanging out, or bringing home? Out of twenty Muggers.

  • My first answer was selected from my friends list. I neglected the qualification "random" in your original question.

If I was truly picking from a random selection of muggers, let's say, whoever answered the first question I selected. I'd guess there might be between 3 and 5 muggers that I'd invite for coffee or tea and chat in a public place. After chat, I'd have an instinctive feel for who could visit our place and who not.

But there's definitely just the one one whom I could confidently invite to visit our home without a first cup of tea.

Well adjusted and sane is a hard call from so very little detail as we can glean from a few answers. Some people come here just so they can relax and be crazy for a while, make silly answers. Or others indulge in sarcasm that would probably get them sacked at work - maybe its a kind of tension diffuser. But that kind of humour is not my cup of tea, so whether they are sane or not, they wouldn't be on my list of possible closer acquaintances.

Did you count the members who haven't used the R-word in their postings?

  • Three to five?  Ok, let's say four, yes?.

Believe me, I agree with the sacked at work remark. So true. But what are you going to do? Fortunately, the nice people outnumber the rude ones. It's ironic to me how the people that complain about Political Correctness are usually the ones that make it necessary to begin with.

Any who, thank you again, my friend, for taking the time to write.
