Bottomless pit. Endlessly NEEDY. How long does it take before you get sick and tired of trying to fill someones "EMPTY" and move on/give up?

    None, anymore. I learned the hard way that you can't fill an empty person. I still try to encourage "empties" to fill themselves up in a healthy way, but when someone isn't prepared to do that kind of work, I walk away now... or at least distance myself when removal isn't possible.

    I am not a patient person JA. When people keep complaining about the same old thing and haven't DONE anything to change it I get bored very quickly, give up and move on. You can only do so much.  When you realize the person is thriving on that situation and has no intention of "fixing" it you move on to stop wasting your breath and time. I guess some people get off on complaining and woe is me-ing! Thank you for your thoughtful reply. I guess we've both been there and moved on! :( Happy Saturday m'dear! :)
