Do you long for the "good old days"?

The days when you could do or say stupid stuff and there was no internet to remember it and throw it back at you years later?

Child, even my daughter remembers a time before the internet. Not well, she was four in 1993 when "www" was born.

I'm chasing after someone I met on this very website and that's all I'm concentrated on right now. Life threw me a curveball. So, now I'm following some other path I never counted on.

  • Yeah kinda.   More so because it seems there is less life in real life nowadays.

  • True.  Besides even all that just hanging out isn't how it used to be.   The bars aren't the same, people don't form tight social cliques any more,  things like bowling night and leagues are pretty much dead.  Socializing and shit is done from a screen  now.  Even when you do go out everyone is one their phones.
It's sold as bringing us together but just makes everyone flat and jaded.

I hear ya Glis.  Now-a-days we seem to rely so much on the internet and computers and have lost the magic touch I am so fond of.  However, I wouldn't know you and Didge and Harry, Zack, WW, man I could go on... so it is a catch 22.  ;)

No.  I like to live, learn, and grow.  Sometimes I don't like the angle we are traveling in but for the most part, I try not to look back, only forward.
P.S.  I do like remembering things from the past and am glad I visited them, then.  Memories are great.  Making new ones is Greater!!
