Ha! I have to admit I didn't even think of this song in relation to Alice Cooper's song! I like this song, too. (On this song, this is the AC/DC lead singer who died relatively young, isn't he? I always forget his name.)

You may know all of this already ~ "Ave Satani" was nominated for an Oscar for Best Original Song for a movie. It lost to the theme from "Rocky," I believe. But Goldsmith's score in its entirety won an Oscar for Best Original Score for "The Omen." The song was performed in the televised awards program by a modern dance company performing to it. Cool!
I might post one of my favorite music spots from the movie, if it's somewhere in youtube -- "The Demise of Mrs. Baylock." I assume you've seen the movie. :)
PLOT SPOILER!!! THE OMEN!!!! Mrs Baylock was the hired housekeeper/maid but, if you saw the movie, we know what her REAL job was -- guarding that little darling.
I found it -- I love these three minutes. And "dig" those frantic demonic group whispers!! Chilling!!

Love Alice Cooper, I got to see him live maybe 10 or 15ish years ago. he was old as' even back then but still put on a great show. I grew up listening my uncle sing this song at family bbq's around a fire . One of my favourite songs ever.
