No.  I haven't had any trouble getting on over the past few days.

  • I experience very slow loading in the mornings. I have been kicked off a few times, but this is the first time I've got this message.

I've never gotten that message, but there have been a few times when it's slowed down considerably.

Good Morning and a very early morning it is for many  of us out here on the PT time.  I'm sure there is a joke there... Damn I wish I could pull it out of my groggy head at the moment... Could you fill in the blank?!  Big giggles!
I wanted to say, thank you for giving me the morning snickers with my sexy knickers on.  Bet you don't think you'd find them sexy being that I'm from the other planet, hu?  You know Merlin... Always a wonder as to what form he/she takes... Who knows?
Well,  I happen to have more confidence in you.  I do believe you have the wonderful ability and confidence to say, "The human body, no matter what desire the emotion and mental attraction is, is a masterpiece."
Love ya Winged Wonder! And I agree!!  Thanks for the morning snickers in my knickers! ;) This post was edited by Merlin at May 24, 2017 8:17 AM MDT

I figured it was the devs working, it always does that when they do.

I usually stay logged on, even overnight, I've just awakened and I did find that I have been logged off. I had no error message, though.
(None of this has anything to do with the $43,196 you owe me, nor does it prevent you from paying me.  Nice attempt at distraction, but no dice.)

The developers have been given a green light to work on a number of projects as they have time and you'll probably run into something like this a few times in the next couple of weeks as they deploy new chunks of code on the live site. The devs are on a schedule opposite us, so anything that may cause blips will probably occur during off-peak hours when most people are not here. I suspect the boot-outs will be momentary and that you'll be able to get right back in if you are online. If you (or anyone else) experiences decreased functionality, I suggest doing hard refreshes and cache clears. Failing that, shoot me an email here or to answermugger (at) gmail.com with browser/device/ issue details and I'll investigate.  Each person's experience will be a little different as the updates roll out because of differences in browsers and how they access the site.

The list of changes coming is here: http://answermug.com/blogs/145/1721/mug-development-list

They're starting on Q&A first and then moving into the groups. When those sections finish in the coming weeks, we'll reevaluate and see what areas are most important to tackle next.

  • Answerbag did that a lot before it closed for good. I know that's not what's happening here though. They are actually fixing things. That's a good thing.
