    Nope. Bacteria makes things rot, there isn't any on the moon.

  • Yes. Chekov made a joke that the Enterprise would pass so close to the Klingon's that they would be, "close enough to smell them."  Spock did not appreciate this jest.  More because of its scientific inaccuracy than its slur against the Klingons.    I cannot recall the episode.
