Well, like it or not, parents are role models. If working outside the law was acceptable to his father, it is likely that at the very least Jared would have less motivation to steer clear of what most of us would consider legally questionable activities.
I suspect what might have attracted Trump's daughter to him in the first place is that he has a moral compass that points in only one direction---to himself.
Which is my major problem with Trump---he is convinced that anything he decides to do is "true north."
