Do you think some folks are growing too violent or other folks need to learn to take a lickin and keep on tickin?

Damn right. The victims of 9-11, Columbine, Dahmer, Gacey, Manchester, need to learn how to "take a lickin'".

Folks have always been violent. Look at the way Larry Holmes DESTROYED Marvis Frasier (Smokin' Joe's son). 

Seems they are one and the same group.

No, I don't believe people should learn to take a lickin.. simply because the reality is that once you become a victim, or if you happen to belong to a group that makes you more likely to become a victim of lickins then you are generally stuck in that trap.. taking lickin after lickin.. and that's not productive... it means people are written off, lives destroyed or damaged/limited..  

So no, cos it's generally always the same people who get the lickins over and over.. and contrary to popular belief it doesn't make them stronger, it makes them weaker when in reality people need to be empowered rather than programmed to take and accept being downtrodden and made into victims.. 

Tell ya what tho.. since I am NOT one who has ever been given a lickin I am happy to take on anyone who thinks it's cook to administer lickins to those who are/or perceived to be weaker than them.

You notice how bullies etc always pick on those who are weaker.. they never pick on someone their own size and strength.
