Would you ever be in involved in promoting/promulgating protests/rallies that were protesting YOU? Would that be to fire up the troops?

Could anyone be so desperate as that? To purposely stage protests against himself/herself just so he/she could malign and whine and rally the base to react? I dunno. Maybe it is a brilliant ploy and one in which Pols always engage. I would think it would be counterproductive but maybe it's a surefire weapon to use. Whatcha think?

    All attention is good attention when you are a narcissist. It's just like how some people post questions about how many responses come from the usual suspects who only show up to insult them. It's a ploy to get their supporters (no matter how few in number), to commiserate with them.
