He sacrificed his family on the altar of his ambition. Now they are all under a microscope. At what cost?

All the shady deals in which the Trumps and Kushners engaged were out of sight. They could finagle anything and everything and no one knew. No one cared. No one gave a dam*. NOW every breath they take, every deal they make, everything they ever done or said? All fair game. All up for grabs. All will be scrutinized. Dearest daddy did this to them. He got to be prez. They get to be ruined reputationally. I dunno. If I did that to my family I would have a hard time forgiving myself.

Is this the first time ever you've heard of a politician's family being under the microscope?

I'm sure that it was just easy-peasy for teenaged Chelsea Clinton during the days of the Monica Lewinsky scandal, for the Reagan children during the days of the Iran-Contra Affair, for the Nixon children during the days of Watergate, etc.

Yep, those blind-hatred blinders of yours certainly prevent clear recollection of history, but as long as it makes a happy Monday for you, its all that matters.

    Hi Rosie:

Why do you care? How does it affect your life?

If he does that to his family, expect even less favorable outcomes for the rest of us.

I don't know. My life hasn't changed; I still have the same wife and jobs I've had for several years. Has yours? This is a very theoretical question and impossible to substantiate. It's largely Rosie and her agenda, facts be damned, yet again. This post was edited by Stu Spelling Bee at July 8, 2018 1:36 AM MDT

Unfortunately, if he doesn't care about his family; one can imagine how little he must care about the other citizens of the United States.

OK, but what specifically are you afraid of? Rosie, have you been able to see any color besides red for hatred since last November?

Why can't you be specific, Rosie? You rant and rave on and on, but never seem willing or able to answer pointed, substantive questions.

I hardly think that any one of them think they have been sacrificed.  These are media whores of the first degree and they have more money than God.  What is the big sacrifice?

That may well be true Shar but it isn't over yet. Investigations are ongoing. We won't know the full extent of the results/fallout until the patient is dead and the autopsy performed. We are a long way away from that. Thank you for your reply.  Sacrifice of privacy. Sacrifice of esteem. Sacrifice of secrecy. Apparently it isn't apparent to you. It is to me. Different strokes. Thank you for your reply and Happy Monday! "_

I don't feel sorry for any of them.

    Remember the Reagans?

The daughter and the son?  The were totally against Reagan.   They spoke out the whole time he was in office.

Not these puppets.  Of course Baron, who may be a child and autistic at that, is not affected, not really, when money and fame are this huoooge, he will be protected against any problems for his whole life.

*Barron. Please don't mix up any of these folks with my distinguished surname, thank you!
